Dough :
– 4 cups Cake Flour
– 1 packet Instant yeast
– 1 tsp Salt
– 40g Margarine
– 300- 320ml Milk
– 1 Egg, large
Filling :
– Margarine, melted
– Cinnamon, to sprinkle on
– Sugar to Sprinkle on
– Levubu Dried Fruit Mix
Topping :
– Warm apricot jam, to brush the top once baked
Method :
Preheat the oven to a 180 degrees Celsius
1. Mix the flour, salt, egg and yeast together
2. Warm the the milk and margarine together in a pot till warm
3. Mix in the warm milk and margarine with the flour mixture
4. Knead the the dough for about 10-15min minutes
5. Set the dough aside and cover with a wet kitchen towel or clingwrap and leave to proof for 30-45min
6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Roll the rectangle into a log.
5. Cut the log into equal sizes and place into a greased baking sheet
6. Allow the rolls to proof again for 15-20min
7. Bake in the oven for 20-30min or till golden brown
8. Once baked and golden brush with the warm jam on top and serve
